The Silverado 1500 3.75-Inch Polished Chrome Dual Exhaust Tips add some fierce, Chevrolet Performance styling to your pickup, and are finished in polished stainless steel to match your truck's existing chrome accents! Chevrolet/GM Engineers performed 25 cycles of 3-stage corrosion chamber testing to validate the Stainless Steel Exhaust Tip. The test includes 8 hours of an ambient stage with a 1% complex salt spray, 8 hours of a humid stage and 8 hours of a dry-off stage to replicate extreme conditions and validate each tip for resistance to discoloration and corrosion. Evaluated via extreme corrosion chamber testing equivalent to 5 years exposure. Additionally, the tips are subjected to a 2-hour thermal heat soak at approximately 392F for discoloration evaluation.
